The Board of the Global FinTech Alliance appointed Rodrigo García de la Cruz as the organization’s first Chairman.
The appointment formed part of the Alliance’s initial governance structure and its plan to represent regional FinTech ecosystems through a global institution.
International representation
The inaugural board included representatives for Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe, reflecting the Alliance’s commitment to regional representation and international cooperation.
Its objectives include connecting digital finance organizations, supporting the international development of FinTech companies and encouraging financial inclusion.
Rodrigo García de la Cruz has participated in the creation and development of several FinTech associations and international ecosystem initiatives.
The Alliance intends to act as a coordinated global voice for financial technology organizations and to facilitate collaboration across borders.
